Where is Cornerstone located?

Our address is 221 West Kuntz Road, Hanover, Indiana 47243. We're located right behind Taco Bell, McDonald's, and the gas station.

What time are the services?

Sundays begin with Connect Classes at 9:00 AM, followed by coffee and fellowship at 9:30 AM. Morning Worship and Children's Church begin at 10:00 AM. Our Evening Service and Student Ministries begin at 6:00 PM. Please check our church calendar for special events or changes to our regular service times.

What should I expect on my first visit?

When you arrive, a first-time guest card will be available for you to fill out. You can also pick up a church bulletin from one of the tables in the foyer. You are welcome to sit anywhere you would like in the main auditorium. Restrooms are located to both the right and left of the auditorium. If you have children, they are welcome to attend Kids Church. Children are dismissed together before the sermon begins. A nursery is also available for infants and toddlers.

How long does the service last?

Our Sunday morning service normally lasts about one hour to one hour and fifteen minutes.

Is your church wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible.

What is the worship service like?

Our worship service includes congregational singing of hymns, special music, church announcements, an offering, a special reading from the Word of God, the sermon, and an invitation at the conclusion of the service.

Can I watch a service online?

Yes. Our Sunday morning service at 10:00 AM is livestreamed on both YouTube and Facebook.

What do you offer for children and teens at your church?

Every Sunday begins at 9:00 AM with Sunday School classes for children of all ages and focused small group sessions for teens. During the 10:00 AM morning worship service, children are dismissed to participate in their own time of singing, prayer, and Bible learning. On Sunday evenings at 6:00 PM, children and teens can take part in our Student Ministries hour. During the summer, we also offer Vacation Bible School for children and a trip to the WILDS camp for teens.

What do you offer for babies and toddlers?

Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers during services.

What Bible studies or classes are available for adults?

We offer two adult Bible study classes at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings. Our Young Adults Bible Study is led by Family Pastor Joe and meets in his office next to the Youth Center (Old Auditorium). Our Adults and Seniors Bible Study is led by Pastor Johnson and meets in the main auditorium.

How can I become a member of Cornerstone?

If you are interested in becoming a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, please speak with Senior Pastor Johnson either before or after the service. He will be happy to answer your questions and explain the process of church membership.

What kind of outreach is the church involved in?

We believe in the Great Commission and actively participate in weekly visitation, soulwinning, missions, and community outreach. Cornerstone supports a number of local and global ministries, including CAM, House of Hope, Life Choices, the Christmas Shoe Box project, MASH, Lighthouse Orphanage, BEAMS, Edgar Feghaly, CEF State Director Anna Gosman, and the Good Citizen Project led by Josh Hershberger.
